List of events during the period
· Acquisition of Windsor Gold Mining and Exploration Inc. British Columbia, Canada through non-cash issue of 554,722 shares at 33 SEK with a total value of 18,305,826 SEK.
· Acquisition of Scania Capital Corporation, Toronto, Ontario Canada through non-cash issue of 20,252 shares at 30 SEK with a total value of 607,560 SEK.
· Acquisition of Scania Capital Operations Inc. Delaware, USA trough non-cash issue of 2,740,000 shares at 30 SEK with a total value of 82,200,000 SEK.
· Bridge financing consisting of 2,500,000 SEK as loans from private parties.
· Public offering of 1,452,500 SEK was made between September and November.
· Public offering of 90,300 SEK was made via Crowdfunding during November and December.
Events during the period
1. Agreement made with EquityNet, USA to raise capital
2. Agreement made with Intelligent Funding, USA regarding the need to raise capital
3. Of the 2,500,000 SEK that were bridge-financed, 1,500,000 SEK have been converted to shares at 30 SEK per share. The conversion will be completed during 2015. Repayment of the surviving debt plus interest will start in September, 2015
4. The Company’s stock can now be traded on the Mangold list as of February 4th, 2015.
5. The number of shares has increased to 3,368,454 and share capital increased to 101,053,620 SEK
Future prospects
Even though the performance of the Stockholm stock exchange has been very positive, company’s dealing directly with raw products and minerals have had a difficult year. The Nordic mining industry has collapsed due to low earnings and resulted in several bankruptcies.
This has had an effect on Maple Leaf Gold, for the short-term, and the Company’s attempt to raise the necessary capital to begin mining operations in Canadian Creek, Canada. The mining season begins mid of Q2.
At the same time, work on starting the Happy 2 project in Arizona, USA continues. The Happy 2 project is a much larger project and is not expected to be running until fall of 2016. Overall, the possibilities for the mining of precious metals are bright, and the goal is to start producing gold this year.
With incomes at roughly US $1,220* per troy ounce, costs in Canadian dollars CAD, circa 6.8 SEK*, and a record-high value of the dollar at 8.40 SEK a dollar, the Company and its operations can expect a very profitable and stable operation, especially when costs are expected to fall below 600 CAD an ounce.
