ÅAC Microtec approved for First North PremierThe space company ÅAC Microtec announced today that Nasdaq has approved the company's application to transfer trading in its shares to First North Premier from Nasdaq First North. The transition is an important step towards the goal of listing the shares on the main list of the stock market. ÅAC's shares will start trading on Nasdaq First North Premier on Wednesday 27 March 2019. "The move to Nasdaq First North Premier is an important strategic step in our ambitions to facilitate institutional ownership in ÅAC Microtec and in our ambition to list on the main market", says Chairman of the Board Rolf Hallencreutz.
Nasdaq First North Premier presents an opportunity for companies to prepare for a listing on the stock market's main list by placing higher requirements on disclosure, accounting principles and corporate governance. The requirements for Premier are broadly in line with the regulations on Nasdaq's main list, which is a regulated market. Since the third quarter 2018, ÅAC reports according to the international accounting rules IFRS, a requirement for companies listed on First North Premier.
