JonDeTech receives a design win and a first order from Chinese GMT

In December 2023, JonDeTech Sensors AB (publ) ("JonDeTech" or the "Company") and Chinese Shanghai Green Motive Smart Technology Co., Ltd ("GMT") entered into a cooperation agreement regarding the development of sensor solutions and related technology in the field of white goods and household appliances. JonDeTech has today received a design win and a first order regarding the sensor JIRS40 in the field of presence detection for smart refrigerators. The end customer is a global Tier 1 OEM. The order value amounts to RMB 618,750,00, corresponding to approximately SEK 890,000,00, and delivery is expected to take place during February.

The design win is related to JIRS40 hardware and software components developed by JonDeTech. The packaged sensor will be integrated into an existing application for advanced refrigerators with an LCD screen-based control panel. It will replace the current presence detection solution. JIRS40 will reduce the refrigerator's power consumption; hence, a more efficient solution can be delivered to the end customer. The market for this type of refrigerator is between 800,000 and 1.2 million units annually, and GMT is a leading player in the global market.
