MTI Investment announces exit in ZanDreams ABDanderyd, Sweden - MTI Investment SE (NASDAQ First North: MTI) announces today that it has reversed a previous investment into the hotel management company managing Mayai Ocean Resort in Zanzibar and sells its shares in ZanDreams AB for SEK 1.350.000. MTI Investment SE informs stakeholders of a strategic decision to exit its ownership in Zandreams AB. The company has today entered into a Share Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Mayai Ocean Resort AS, resulting in the transfer of six hundred (600) shares from MTI Investment SE to Mayai Ocean Resort AS for a total consideration of SEK 1.350.000.
Pontus Engström, CEO of MTI Investment SE, explained: "Our decision to exit ZanDreams AB is a result from extensive discussions regarding a 40% ownership in the actual real estate of the hotel Mayai Ocean Resort. Following meticulous consideration, we mutually agreed with the other stakeholders to suspend the investment, prompting the parallel decision to exit the associated hotel management company we formed earlier this year. By disengaging from ZanDreams AB, MTI Investment ensures the complete recovery of our initial investment. This move enables us to redirect our focus towards identifying and capitalizing on other lucrative, cash-generating investment opportunities within the dynamic East African market."
