DragonLend signs term sheet with leading fintech financier in Southeast Asia for additional credit line of approx. 11 MSEK

Fram Skandinavien AB (publ) announces that the company's subsidiary DragonLend has signed a term sheet with the Singapore-based fintech company, Aspire, to finance DragonLend's loan book with a further approx. SEK 11 million (MUSD 1.20) in a drawdown structure (ie a structure where the credit can be used gradually as needed).

"We are really excited about this funding from Aspire, especially as they focus on working with the fastest growing tech companies in the region. In DragonLend's segment, we continue to see healthy and strong borrowing needs from small profitable companies that are in need of working capital. Even during a relatively unpredictable year such as 2021, DragonLend managed to both grow and attract new significant investors. Now we are confidently looking forward to a year where hopefully 'lockdowns' are completely behind us, given a fully vaccinated adult population and a local Vietnamese economy that continues to develop strongly thanks to its underlying long-term growth engines. ", says Max Bergman, CEO of Fram ^ Fintech.

Among Aspire's investors are the well-known VC companies from Silicon Valley, e.g. Sequoia and Y Combinator, but also Thailand's leading commercial bank, KBank.
