Meltron receives first significant order for street lights from MetsäMeltron has received a new, additional order from the Metsä Group, this time for 200 street lights for the industrial premises of a Metsä Board facility in Rauma in Finland. The order followed several weeks test installation of four competing luminaries supplied by Meltron, another Finnish supplier and two highly recognized global suppliers. The over-all quality and superior optics creating a uniform distribution of light was a decisive factor for Metsä's selection of Meltron as supplier. The order value is in excess of 50 k€. Just before last Christmas, Metsä Board purchased Meltron's High Bay luminaries for another plant in Äänekoski in Finland.
