Xintela applies for tissue establishment licenseLund, Sweden, 28 October 2020 - Xintela announces today that the company has submitted an application to the Medical Products Agency for a tissue establishment license for handling tissues and cells for manufacturing of medicinal products. In order to be allowed to conduct activities that handle human tissues and cells for the manufacture of medicinal products, a tissue establishment license is required. It is issued by the Medical Products Agency, which carries out an inspection before a license can be granted. The inspection is performed to ensure that Xintela meets the requirements for good quality and safety and that the regulations in the relevant areas are followed.
