The radar technology company Acconeer receives an order from Digi-Key worth USD 44,030Acconeer's products have been available on American Digi-Key's platform since February 15, 2018. Previously Digi-Key has sold Acconeers radar sensor, evaluation card, and modules. This is the first order relating to the previously announced IoT module XM 122 and the breakout board XB 122. The module is a fully integrated IoT module that is optimized for cost and power consumption. The module will be based on the Nordic nRF52840 microprocessor with support for Bluetooth® 5 and it will also provide the opportunity to connect other communication devices such as LoRa.
Lars Lindell, CEO Acconeer, comments: "Our IoT module XM 122 will be the worlds first radar module that can be powered by only a coin cell battery. The reason we can do this is the A1 unique low power consumption. It contains a M4 processor, so cost is considerably lower than the High-Performance module XM 112 with an M7 processor.
