Absolent Group acquires SMK Sverige AB in SwedenAB in Sweden Absolent Group AB - a global environmental technology group manufacturing air cleaning products for industrial process air- has through its subsidiary Absolent AB acquired SMK Sverige AB, Skövde. SMK is a privately held company with a primary focus as a subcontractor of mechanical components and products. Absolent AB is presently the dominating customer of SMK. "This acquisition is strategically important for Absolent AB for a number of reasons. It will increase our possibility to standardize work flows, consolidate purchasing, and trim the production at the same time as we increase our capacity and flexibility of filter unit production.
We have had a long and close collaboration with SMK on production and product development. SMK's and Absolent's management teams have seen that there is sizable value that can be created by joining our forces and we are very pleased to have found a solution that satisfies both parties.
SMK has a competent, driven and professional team and we look forward to getting them as our colleagues" says Axel Berntsson, President & CEO of Absolent Group.
